USA Today Hearst's King Features has launched what it calls the most ambitious effort yet to turn "the funnies" into a revenue-generating attraction for newspaper websites, reports David Lieberman. Newspapers that tested Comics Kingdom notice increased traffic. "It's becoming the second-highest feature within our entertainment section, even beyond stories," says the Milwaukee Journal Sentinel's Shane Peterson.
