Washington City Paper David Segal, who is joining the New York Times, says he fell in love with New York City while covering it for the Washington Post, and looks forward to returning to a newsroom. "I miss having a big room full of reporters." Ex-WPer Michael Powell tells Erik Wemple: "There's no doubt over the many years that NYC has become a roach motel for Washington Post writers -- they tend to enter and never leave."
